Council Grants

Adelaide Hills Council's Annual Grant Rounds provide funding to eligible community groups, organisations and members.  Categories include Community Grants, and Sport and Recreation Facilities Grants.

The annual grant rounds provide financial assistance for specific projects to support organisations and groups in the delivery of local initiatives which make a positive contribution to the Adelaide Hills community.

PRIMARY PRODUCTION INCENTIVE GRANTS
Grants up to $10,000 are available for Primary Producers and organisations servicing the primary production sector in the Adelaide Hills district. Total grant funding available is $20,000.
Projects should improve productivity, quality, or financial or environmental sustainability. Maximising the use of emerging technologies and innovation will be viewed favourably.
Grant applications for 2016/17 are now open. Applications must be made on the appropriate form and received by 5:00pm, 28 April 2017.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Community Development Grants offers grants of up to $2,000 for community projects that deliver a broad community benefit. Projects could include cultural/community development, health promotion, lifelong learning, environmental enhancements, sport and recreation (non-infrastructure) or those that address social/welfare needs.
Grant applications for 2016/17 close 30 September 2016.
Total grant funding available $25,000
Individual grants awarded up to $2,000

SPORT AND RECREATION GRANTS
Following the review of the Adelaide Hills Council Sport and Recreation Strategy, we are refining our approach in how we determine support to our Community in the area of Sport and Recreation. One component of this is via our annual Sport & Recreation Facility Grants.

At the 13 December 2016 Council meeting, it was decided to defer the 2016/2017 financial year Sport & Rec Facility Grants funds and make them available in the 2017/2018 financial year instead.  As a result this 2017/18 grant round will have  'double funding' available, and will be supported by a clearer process and new and improved guidelines to maximise community outcomes.

More information will become available and communicated to clubs in due course, but it is anticipated that new guidelines and funding will be available between approximately July – November 2017.
