Permanent, full time position
We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the newly created position of Governance and Risk Coordinator. Based in Stirling, you will be responsible for providing services, support and advice on governance and risk matters including risk and emergency management, internal audits and supporting Council Members.
You will have a well developed knowledge of risk management principles and methodologies and a clear understanding of the Local Government Act 1999. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to establish collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Your ability to manage your time, set priorities and achieve outcomes will be critical to your success in the role. A relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience in governance, risk or a Local Government context is essential.
