Community Support and Volunteer Officer

GO Level 3: $63,985 - $69,118 (FTE) plus superannuation
Fixed term, part time position (0.7 FTE) - to 30 June 2018

Based in Woodside, this varied position works with older residents of the Adelaide Hills Council area to assist them to live independently in the community. The position will be responsible for recruiting and supporting volunteers who will assist in the provision of social support programs as well as participating in the development of social support group programs and coordinating individual home support services.

You will have experience in working with an older demographic and coordinating community based services focusing on wellness and reablement. You will also possess a strong track record of providing outstanding customer service in a team environment. Your warm interpersonal manner, keen eye for detail and well-developed volunteer management skills will ensure you will succeed in the role.

This position provides programs and services on behalf of, and with funding from, the Commonwealth Government under the Aged Care Act 1997 (Cth). As part of Adelaide Hills Council's Safe Environments Policy, a current National Criminal History Record Check (within the last 12 months) is essential (or be willing to undertake).

Continuous Improvement Facilitator

Fixed term, part time position (0.6FTE) - 3 year contract

Based in Stirling, this position supports People Leaders and teams to identify and deliver a diverse range of continuous improvement initiatives. As part of the Service Improvement team, you will work with people and teams to have a positive impact on the workplace.

You will be passionate about continuous improvement, have an enthusiastic, motivated and positive approach with a "can do" attitude. You will be confident speaking in front of groups, love planning and facilitating workshops and be passionate about problem solving and finding better ways of doing things. You will be comfortable introducing changes in the workplace and be able to engage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

Collaborative Project Officer – Hills Positive Ageing Project

The Hills Positive Ageing Project (HPAP) engages with services that support older people and their carers across the Adelaide Hills, Mount Barker and western Alexandrina Council areas. Adelaide Hills Council is the auspice for the HPAP.

Based in Woodside, this part time position supports the aged care sector to implement aged care reforms.  Reporting to a Regional Executive Committee, you will lead innovative and responsive projects that facilitate collaborative regional links and contribute to optimal outcomes for older people.

You will have extensive knowledge of the aged care sector, current reforms and reablement and wellbeing approaches. You will have experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Your ability to collaborate, communicate and motivate will be critical to your success in this role.
