MANAGER FINANCE

Full time, five year contract

Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you will lead and mentor the finance team, providing strategic leadership and management of Council's financial operations and strategy.

An inspiring and contemporary CA/CPA qualified leader, you will have extensive experience in strategic, financial and business planning and a demonstrated ability to deliver accounting and rating functions in a complex, highly regulated environment. Your strong communication and relationship building skills will allow you to work across departments and be an energetic and positive change agent. Critical to your success in this role will be your ability to inspire, motivate and support your people to build a team culture characterised by high quality customer service, creativity and continuous improvement.

COORDINATOR COMMUNICATIONS & EVENTS

12 month full time parental leave replacement contract

Based at Stirling, this position offers an experienced and contemporary communications professional the opportunity to continue to deliver an ambitious communications and marketing plan as well as supporting delivery of large scale community events.

In this position, you will support senior leaders and Council Members in a dynamic, service focussed environment, determined to achieve great community outcomes. You will collaborate with employees across the organisation and will have the support of a small communications and events team. You will foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with media outlets and communicate with a range of stakeholders on the Council's behalf.

You will be driven and self-motivated to deliver on key outcomes of the communications and marketing plan, which at times will require you to work with external consultants and service providers. Digital communications are a growing priority for Council and an expectation from our community.  You will be required to deliver on our digital communication strategy working across various platforms, including social media.

Success in this role will require the incumbent to anticipate what needs to be done to proactively perform the role. Your alignment with and support of excellent customer service, in line with our values is key. Adaptability and the ability to manage a diverse workload are critical attributes.
