Based in Stirling and reporting to the Manager Library and Customer Services, this position is responsible for leading, managing and motivating the team that delivers a range of high quality services to our community including Council and library frontline services, outreach services and events.
You will have experience managing, rostering and supporting a multi-skilled team across multiple sites. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will ensure that you effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. Your track record will demonstrate a strong commitment to high quality customer service and the ability to thrive in a culture focused on continuous improvement. You will have a degree in Library and Information Services (or other relevant qualification) together with substantial experience in library and customer service.
This is a prescribed position under the Children's Protection Act 1993 (SA). As part of Council's Safe Environments Policy, the successful applicant will be required to demonstrate that they have undergone a satisfactory DCSI Child-Related Employment Screening assessment within the last 12 months (or be willing to undertake one).
