Civil Works

Council is responsible for managing a large road network of sealed and unsealed roads throughout the district, including the ongoing maintenance and renewal. Some of our upcoming projects are listed below, or for a more detailed list click here.

2016/17 Capital Works Projects Update

Due to the unforeseen impact of the storm events during spring, many of our scheduled capital works projects have been delayed or deferred while we undertake remediation and repair work.

A review of the capital works program has been undertaken to assess which projects Council has the capacity to deliver, are already underway and which are deemed critical, including some infrastructure projects.

At the 22 November 2016 Council meeting, a revised 2016/17 Capital Works Program budget was endorsed by Council Members.
