General Officer Level 5: $79,956 - $83,480 plus superannuation
Permanent, full time position

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably skilled Building Officer to assess a wide range of development types and building classifications across the Council district.

To be successful in this role you will bring a positive and resilient approach to the provision of excellent customer service. You will have tertiary qualifications in Building Surveying with accreditation at Level 2 combined with an in-depth knowledge of development legislation and the Building Code. You will need to demonstrate a track record in building assessment and inspection processes. Your well-developed communication skills and organisational ability are key to managing this role well.

Events Officer

Permanent, full time position

Based in Stirling, this position offers an experienced events professional the opportunity to deliver world class public events as well as supporting a diverse variety of community events in the Adelaide Hills.

Applications are sought from people with experience in:

  • Public or large scale event management
  • Administration of event logistics
  • Communications and events (including relevant qualifications)

Success in this role will require the incumbent to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate Council's involvement in major events in the region such as the Santos Tour Down Under.

Experience in event management and support of excellent customer service, in line with our values is essential. Adaptability and the ability to manage a diverse workload are critical attributes.
