Get involved! Cultural Diversity in the Hills

With almost one in five Adelaide Hills residents born overseas (ABS 2011 Census), Council is exploring how we can better welcome those who have made the Hills their home.

"We want to understand the challenges that people face and how we might address these, as well as ideas on what we can do to value and celebrate cultural diversity," says Lynne Griffiths, Community and Cultural Development Officer.

"We are eager to hear from people of all ages that live, work, study or spend time in the Hills."

We want to engage with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds to gain insight into their experience of settling in the Adelaide Hills. Throughout May and June there will be a series of ways to share your story, with small focus groups and informal interviews among the options for residents.

If you would like to participate in this important research, please contact Lynne Griffiths, Community and Cultural Development Officer, to discuss the different options available.
