Acting Mayor Jan-Claire Wisdom this morning attended the launch of a new free Wi-Fi initiative from Telstra and the SA Tourism Commission that will include benefits for visitors to the Hills.
So far hotspots have been switched on in Hahndorf, Moana, Moonta Bay, Angaston, Beachport, Port MacDonnell, Victor Harbor, Tailem Bend, and Kingscote, with another 51 hotspots due to be rolled-out in the coming months.
The free Wi-Fi is being placed in iconic, but remote locations, giving visitors the opportunity to use their mobile devices to find places to eat, stay, and play, whilst also sharing their experiences online.
Additional Wi-Fi spots coming to the Hills:
Mt Lofty Summit
Cleland Wildlife Park
National Motor Museum, Birdwood
Woodside Heritage Park
Coventry Library, Stirling
