The Gift of Reading bigger than ever in 2017

Adelaide Hills Council library staff are blown away by the generosity of our library members and regular visitors, who have donated books to the Gift of Reading program that amounts to a 150% increase on last year's contribution.

Our library patrons have donated almost 400 books for disadvantaged children up to 12 years old who will receive them for Christmas through the great work of the Smith Family.

When the drop off was made on 11 December, the Smith Family staff declared it the largest donation of the day.

Thank you to all of our community members who contributed generously to this valuable cause.
