Running a small business is not easy, and at times it can feel a bit lonely. That's why the Hills Small Business Service (HSBS) is launching - it's like the "Small Business Cavalry"!
The challenges of running a small business have been recognised by the Business Enterprise Centre network around Australia, and the 120+ Centres are providing help, advice, guidance and, at times, someone to just talk things over with.
Through the BEC at Tea Tree Gully, the HSBS is being established in the Adelaide Hills Council area. Services will initially be provided in Woodside and Stirling, with intentions to expand into more areas in the near future.
The services available to all small business include:
- Business advisory services (from experienced, judgement-free advisers)
- Referrals to professional experts
- Business Improvement Plans
- Information workshops
- Group coaching programs
- Networking evenings
To help locals better understand what will be on offer, the HSBS will be holding two informal information nights:
Wednesday 17 February, 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Council Chambers, 36 Nairne Road, Woodside
Wednesday 24 February, 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Council Chambers, 63 Mt Barker Road, Stirling
Workshop programs also commence on Wednesday 2 March, keep an eye on Council's Featured Events list for what's coming up.
At the Hills Small Business Service, small business matters.
