Santos Tour Down Under 2017

All eyes will be on the picturesque Adelaide Hills for Staging Connections Stage 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under 2017.

Hills dwellers get plenty of opportunity during the Santos Tour Down Under to witness the excitement of the peloton, but none more so than Staging Connections Stage 2 in 2017, when the race will get underway in Stirling, and make its way to Paracombe for a thrilling hilltop finish. The hills will be abuzz with international cycling champions, legions of fans and cycling enthusiasts. It's an exciting time to showcase the best of what the Adelaide Hills has to offer and put our region in the international spotlight.

Road closures
As the Santos Tour Down Under travels through its stages, roads will be temporarily be closed by SA Police to accommodate the competition passing by. In addition to this, there are some longer-term closures in the Adelaide Hills Council district.

How to get involved
In addition to joining the festivities in Stirling or Paracombe on Wednesday 18 January, you might like to participate in the Santos Best Dressed Town Competition. The Santos Tour Down Under is offering more than $7,000 in cash prizes (as well as regional pride), with daily winners in the categories of town, private residence, paddock/school, and commercial property.

Open to all regional towns, suburbs, schools, businesses, property owners and households along the race route.
