Residents in the Adelaide Hills Council district can now access up to date features and content through the free smartphone app, My Local Services.
The Local Government Association of South Australia developed the state-wide application to deliver local information about local services offered by councils.
Residents can access kerbside waste collection schedules and reminders, information on events, and the latest news on projects, initiatives and consultations.
Council can also send important alerts and reminders through the app to those who have elected to receive them through their individual settings.
A key feature of the app is the reporting mechanism. Residents, or even those using the app in the Council area, can report issues that require Council attention, such as footpath obstructions or potholes. Add your details, attach a photo and the location will be automatically assigned to the report.
