SALA Festival

The Adelaide Hills is strongly represented each year in the SALA Festival as numerous galleries, studios, restaurants and businesses exhibit local artists. To explore all events in the Adelaide Hills Council district, see the 2018 SALA program on the official festival website.

In 2018, Adelaide Hills Council will be supporting the following exhibitions:


Adelaide Hills - Four Seasons to be Happy
Friday 17 to Sunday 26 August

SALA @ the Summit - 4 Crescent Drive, Norton Summit

The Summit Community Centre and Adelaide Hills Natural Resource Centre present an exhibition reflecting leisure, laughter, love and life; the changing seasons of the Adelaide Hills.

Friday 17 August:  9:00am to 3:00pm - Opening night

Sunday 19 August:  12:00pm to 4:00pm - including Craft Market

Monday 20 through Friday 24 August: 9:00am to 3:00pm

Sunday 26 August: 12:00pm to 4:00pm - Special closing event including People's Choice Award Presentation

h.Art at the Lobethal Woollen Mills - Building 20, Lobethal Woollen Mill

An exhibition exploring fibre and textiles in contemporary and experimental art practice. Experience a wide range of pieces exploring themes of connection in the environment, politics, humanitarianism, and domestic life.

Friday 3 August: 6:00pm to 8:00pm - Opening night

Exhibition open each Saturday and Sunday: 11:00am - 4:00pm

Sunday 26 August: 1:00pm to 4:00pm - Closing night music event
