Adelaide Hills Council is committed to providing opportunities for community groups and leaders to connect and build a region that is engaged, empowered, and dynamic. We have a suite of resources to help build the capacity of local groups.

If hearing about a particular topic at one of your regular committee meetings would be more beneficial, Council staff are available to present to your community group on certain topics. If there is a topic you are interested in that is not listed below, please let us know and we'll investigate whether a presentation can be developed.

  • Social media and communications
  • Events and fundraising

Two to four weeks' notice is preferred in order to confirm staff scheduling. Please contact the Communications and Events team on (08) 8408 0400 or to find out more and book.

Event planning and management
Many community groups hold events of varying sizes as ways to connect with local residents, meet like-minded people, fundraise, or promote their services. We have a comprehensive toolkit for event organisers that is perfect for the novice, and a good reference even for those people with some event experience. Click here to go to our Events and Venue Hire page to see all of the information available (opens in a new tab).
