Borrowing and returns

Members can borrow up to 100 items for 28 days. DVDs and CDs have a limit of 20 items for 14 days. Items can be collected from and returned to any South Australian public library.

Holds and reminders

Reminder notices are sent to members to alert them of held items ready for collection, and also three days in advance of items due to be returned. Please advise staff whether you prefer SMS or email notifications for these reminders.

Stay on top of programs and events, hear about new services available to members, and get the latest news from our library team by subscribing to our monthly electronic newsletter: Hills Voice: your libraries.

Items not returned or renewed by the due date may incur a charge. Damaged or lost items may also attract reimbursement costs, including a $5 processing fee.

For more information please read our Fees and Charges.
