Community Groups and Leaders

There are over 700 active community groups in the Adelaide Hills Council area. Ranging from friends groups, training groups, special interest groups to less formal groups and gatherings of like minded people.

Many of these groups take advantage of the many facilities maintained for the community by Adelaide Hills Council, including our community centres, sports grounds, parks and libraries.

A complete and comprehensive listing of community groups is maintained on the SA Community website. This site is maintained by community groups themselves and assistance is provided by councils across the state.

So if you've ever wanted to become a friend of a park, facility, library or wanted to learn how to play bridge or any number of other things, there's likely to be a group for you.

Please search the SA Community website here.

If you are a community group in the Adelaide Hills you may be eligible to apply for a Community Grant. Click here to learn more.

Council acknowledges that we conduct our business on the traditional lands and waters of the Peramangk and Kaurna people. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging as the Custodians of this ancient and beautiful land.
