​Who makes a difference in your local community?

Nominations are now open for the 2022 Citizen of the Year Awards and we are looking forward to hearing your stories. Our categories include:

Citizen of the Year
Presented to someone who has made an extraordinary contribution to the community.

Young Citizen of the Year
Presented to a young person (under 30yrs) who is making a difference in their community.

Community Event of the Year
Presented to a person or group who has staged the most outstanding event for their community.

Civic Award
Presented to a person or group delivering outstanding work on an event or project for the community during the past calendar year.

Nominees must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible.

Nominate online (note: Civic Awards should be entered under the category of 'Other') before Wednesday 24 November 2021. Awards will be presented on Australia Day 2022 at events in Stirling, Woodside, Uraidla, and Gumeracha.
