Aldgate Primary School Students Celebrate National Tree Day with Bushland Restoration

In a heartwarming celebration of National Tree Day, Aldgate Primary School students, along with Council and Arbury Park Outdoor School staff, took part in a bushland restoration project at The Deanery in Bridgewater.

The initiative, held at a Bush For Life site, aimed to restore and stabilise a section of trail by planting 200 native trees, plants, and grasses.

The planting area, located at the base of a hill and visible from the popular Heysen and Pioneer Women’s trails, provides an excellent opportunity for the students to monitor their work. As they walk these trails with friends and family, they can take pride in watching the vegetation grow and flourish.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the dedicated students, staff, parents, and Arbury Park team for their hard work. Their efforts have not only beautified the area but also contributed to the conservation of this important woodland remnant. It's inspiring to see these local eco-warriors taking pride in their environment!
