The Government of South Australia has opened consultations for the 'Draft Heritage Standard for the Mount Torrens State Heritage Area', and now is a great opportunity to share your views.

Located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, Mount Torrens is a remarkable example of a 19th-century settlement and has been a State Heritage Area since 2002.

The new Heritage Standard will guide how future development in Mount Torrens is carried out. This is an important opportunity for community groups, property owners, tenants, and anyone with an interest in State Heritage Areas to share their thoughts and opinions.

The consultation period ends on Friday, 30 August 2024.
