Council Advisory Groups Expressions of Interest

Council has established a number of Advisory Groups to provide advice to the administration for the development of Council strategies, policies and initiatives in a number of key service delivery areas. These Groups consist of a combination of Elected Members and Community/Independent Members.

The current membership terms are coming to a close and Council is keen to appoint Community/Independent Members to the following Advisory Groups:

  • Biodiversity,
  • Cemeteries,
  • Rural Land Management, and
  • Sustainability.

Ideally, applicants will have knowledge, expertise and experience in the business of the Advisory Group; the specific requirements for each Group are contained in their Terms of Reference, available on the Council Advisory Group landing page.

Advisory Group membership is voluntary.

Expressions of Interest containing a covering letter addressing the Group's selection criteria and a current resume should be received by close of business on Friday, 5 March 2021 at:
