Cudlee Creek bushfire
On Friday 20 December 2019, an uncontrolled fire broke out in Cudlee Creek. More than 25,000 hectares of the district was burned including homes, outbuildings, vehicles and other property.
Recovery will be different for everyone, but as a district we understand that it will be a long process.

Cherry Gardens bushfire
On Monday 25 January 2021, an uncontrolled fire broke out in Cherry Gardens. More than 2,700 hectares of the district was burned including buildings.
