Courses including exercise classes, lifestyle workshops, training courses, computing to craft groups and more are held in the centres and outreach locations throughout the Adelaide Hills Council area.

Though it is often referred to as a 'Men's Shed', other activities are regularly offered, such as women's maintenance courses, school holiday activities and gardening workshops.

Enthusiast gardeners are welcome to potter around in our garden or join our Gardening Club. Talks are also held throughout the year about plants, composting, mulch, fertilisers, plant propagating, pruning and fruit trees.

Supported by dedicated volunteers and available to Adelaide Hills Council residents who have difficulty accessing transport, the Community Bus offers transport to Mount Barker and Tea Tree Plaza for shopping. The bus is fitted with a wheelchair hoist. An assessment may be required to determine eligibility to use this service.

The centre has a fully equipped kitchen with cutlery, crockery and glassware available. The community room is equipped with a data screen projector, DVD, sound system, fold-up tables and stackable chairs. This room can cater for a diverse range of events including professional presentations, yoga classes, craft groups, art classes, family functions and training courses.

The Summit Community Centre runs a vibrant exhibition program.
