Adelaide Hills Council Making a Splash with New Woodside Water Park in 2025!
The Adelaide Hills Council is excited to announce the upcoming construction of a new splash park at the Woodside Pool.
Set to begin in early March 2025, the $750,000 project and will be open in time for summer 2025.
The Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre Splash Park will be a vibrant new play space enhancing the existing public swimming pool. The new area will feature exciting installations inspired by local vines, grapes, and regional flora. Highlights include a dumper bucket, water cannons, cascading mushrooms, ground and arch sprays, and a rock feature with a hand pump that directs water through weirs. All elements are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for families.
The Adelaide Hills Council has selected Water Features by Design to design and construct the project which will take approximately six weeks to complete.
The council is dedicated to improving community facilities and looks forward to the positive impact this new splash park will bring to residents.
Normal pool opening hours will not be affected by the works, but some areas of the grounds will be restricted for public safety reasons.
This project is a partnership between the Adelaide Hills Council, The Adelaide Hills War Memorial Swimming Centre and the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
