Bay to Birdwood travelling through the hills Sunday morning, October 20
The iconic Bay to Birdwood event, where thousands of South Australians and automotive enthusiasts from across the country gather to celebrate automotive history will be driving through our region on Sunday October 20.
Witness an impressive parade of over 1,500 historic vehicles along the scenic 67-kilometre route, departing Barratt Reserve in West Beach from 8:15am. The first vehicles are scheduled to arrive at the National Motor Museum, Birdwood at 9:15am.
Choose your ideal viewing spot along the route to catch all the action or make your way to the Finish Festival at the National Motor Museum.
Soak up the wonderful atmosphere and admire hundreds of rarely seen historic vehicles and talk to the owners. Enjoy quality regional produce, Adelaide Hills craft beer, wines and spirits plus delicious gourmet street food served by local food trucks.
There are no road closures during the Bay to Birdwood, however the route contains changed traffic conditions throughout, including reduced speed limits, some lane closures, and the high likelihood of increased traffic flow.
