Woods Hill Road safety upgrade with new stops signs on yellow backing boards

Black Spot Project update – Woods Hill Road Safety upgrade

Construction is complete on road safety improvements to the Woods Hill Road / Tregarthen Road / Stony Rise Road intersection in Ashton as part of the Black Spot project.

The upgrade will improve driver awareness of the intersection and its complexities to keep our community safer on our roads.

The works completed include shoulder widening, flush painted median islands with red infill and Raised Retroreflective Pavement Markers (RRPMs). The stop signs have been duplicated on large yellow backing boards and advanced warning signs and the drainage at the intersection was also improved as part of the upgrade.
