Calling Hills artists, participate in SALA with Council support!
Are you an artist in the Adelaide Hills? The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is your opportunity to showcase your work and be part of a state-wide celebration of visual arts.
Council Support
Adelaide Hills Council is offering subsidies of up to $145 per artist to assist with SALA registration fees. This support is available for the first 18 artists who apply.
To be eligible for this subsidy, artists must:
- Be a resident of the Adelaide Hills Council area and be exhibiting either within or outside of the area.
- Live outside of the Adelaide Hills Council area but be exhibiting within the area.
Successful applicants will need to provide a receipt of their SALA registration.
Early bird registration is from the 1st of March to the 7th of April 2025.
Final SALA registrations close on the 14th of May, 2025.

What is SALA?
The South Australian Living Artists Festival is an open-access visual arts festival, meaning any visual artist in South Australia can participate. SALA celebrates artists of all backgrounds and experience levels, from emerging talent to established professionals.
