Community invited to Country Cabinet event
Country Cabinet is heading for the Hills on Wednesday 23 August and Thursday 24 August.
Country Cabinet visits are a chance for members of the community, the Premier and the government to come together at a forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities unique to the different areas of our state.
The Premier, government ministers and chief executives will also spend time visiting people, businesses and organisations across each region.
On Wednesday 23 August from 5pm the Premier will host a community BBQ and forum at the Mount Barker High School where members of the public are welcome to attend.
Mayor Jan-Claire Wisdom said Country Cabinet provides a valuable opportunity for the Premier and Cabinet Ministers to hear the community’s perspective and develop a better understanding of our region’s unique character and natural environment.
For more information about Country Cabinet and to register to attend the community BBQ and forum see The Department of Premier and Cabinet website.
