Council hears from 726 participants in this year's community survey
The Adelaide Hills community have provided valuable feedback in this year's community survey.
Council heard from 726 participants, with 92% of respondents living in the Adelaide Hills Council area.
The survey found that most respondents choose to live in the Adelaide hills due to lifestyle, natural environment attractions, and bigger block sizes. Some of the top concerns in the area are increasing development, risk bushfire, as well as exit and access in emergency situations.
Our community feel connected and well, with most participants rating their sense of connection and wellbeing as 9 out of 10.
When asked to share their vision for the future of the Hills, some key themes around retaining a healthy and natural environment and the unique character of our area emerged.
