"Life Without Me" to premier at Stirling Community Theatre
Stirling Players will bring the South Australian premiere of noted playwright, Daniel Keene’s eccentric comedy ‘Life Without Me’ to the Stirling Community Theatre Stage from 28 March - 12 April.
'Life Without Me' is funny, heart-warming and thought provoking. The play gathers a series of unlikely characters together, who meet in a hotel lobby to contemplate their place and purpose on earth.
Director, Megan Dansie, has brought many hilarious and successful productions to Adelaide and the Hills area for over 40 years. The absurdist and dry Australian style of Daniel Keene’s writing plays into Dansie's experienced hands.
Witty dialog and profound, probing subjects are Keene’s specialty and the cast of South Australia’s finest experienced actors bring the ambitious and thought-provoking production to life.
Daniel Keene’s plays have been performed more times internationally than any other Australian playwright. The Stirling Players look forward to bringing this important play to the Adelaide Hill from 28 March - 2 April.
Cast: Brad Martin, Steve Marvanek, Brant Eustice, Matthew Chapman, Sue Wylie, Michelle Hravatin, Leah Lowe.
‘Life without Me’ will run from March 28 to April 12.
Evening shows 7.30pm, Matinees 3pm. Running time, 2.15hrs.
