NAIDOC Week 7-14 July

This year's theme for NAIDOC Week is 'Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud.'

The National NAIDOC Committee selected this theme to celebrate not only the survival but also the relentless spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The theme also celebrates the enduring strength of First Nations culture and offers teachers a chance to explore various topics, perspectives and experiences with students

Adelaide Hills Council acknowledges that we undertake our business on the land of the Peramangk and Kaurna Nations. We acknowledge their deeply spiritual connection with Country and we pay our respect to Elders past, present and future as the Custodians of this ancient and beautiful land.
