National Volunteer Week 2023
National Volunteer Week starts Monday 15 May and it's a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you.
This year the theme for National Volunteer Week is 'The Change Makers'.
Adelaide Hills Council will be offering free movie passes to the amazing volunteers who donate their time to the community. Mayor Jan-Claire Wisdom has thanked our volunteers in the video below.
Did you know there's a new name for volunteers? It's ‘The Change Makers’. Because volunteers make our community a better place to live every year.
Volunteers make a real difference to the everyday lives of other individuals.
So after another year of giving our Hills community hundreds of volunteer hours, I'd like to say thank you to all our volunteers.
