Stages are set for the milestone 25th year of Santos Tour Down Under 2025
We are delighted to be hosting a women’s start and finish in Stirling, a men’s finish in Gumeracha, and another in the ever-popular Uraidla township. It’s wonderful to see our towns so well represented for the 25-year anniversary Tour and we know our community will embrace both the race and this special milestone.
We're excited to announce that Adelaide Hills Council will host three stages of the 2025 Santos Tour Down Under.
Ten action-packed days and nights await fans at the event, which will once again launch the international cycling season and the UCI WorldTour and Women’s WorldTour.
Santos Tour Down Under stages 2025 Adelaide Hills
WOMEN'S RACE
- Sunday 19 January – Hyundai Stage 3 – Stirling to Stirling, 105.9k
MEN'S RACE
- Tuesday 21 January – Ziptrak Stage 1 – Prospect to Gumeracha, 150.7km
- Thursday 23 January – efex Stage 3 – Norwood to Uraidla, 147.5km
Santos Tour Down Under Race Director Stuart O’Grady OAM said fans were in for a treat across the Adelaide Hills with plenty of action in store.
“The women’s race will come down to their final stage in Stirling - with five loops across constant undulation, this stage will be a tactical battle for the ochre jersey and require strong team tactics.”
“The men will have a first-time finish in Gumeracha, where they will race past the popular Big Rocking Horse, setting up a spectacle in true South Australian style. Then they will be back to tackle a brand new climb in the Adelaide Hills for stage 3, with Uraidla set to host a stunning finish.”
