Subsidies available for SALA in the Hills

Council is offering a subsidy towards SALA registration for artists living and/or exhibiting in the district in 2024.

The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is held annually in August across the state, with the mission of allowing all South Australian visual artists of any level and working in any medium to be part of the event.

Artist registrations are open from March 1 and close May 8, with early bird prices are currently available.

Council is offering up to $140 per artist for the first 20 artists who apply.

Artists are eligible to apply if they:

• Are a resident of the Adelaide Hills Council area, and will be exhibiting within or outside of the area.
• Live outside of the Adelaide Hills Council area, but will be exhibiting within the area.
  

Artists will be required to provide a receipt for their SALA registration.
