This July go into the draw to win one of 20 Butterfly Kits that contain 15 butterfly attracting plants.

Congratulations to our 20 lucky winners! We have sent messages to you via Facebook messenger with the collection details. Thanks to all who entered! If you missed out this time, we will run the competition again next year.

Butterfly Kit Giveaway

The Adelaide Hills Council Biodiversity Team has 20 Butterfly Kits to giveaway each containing 15 butterfly attracting plants.

To go in the draw to win one of these kits, keep watch on our Facebook Page starting Wednesday 17 July.

Then when the Butterfly Kit post goes live sometime in that week - be sure to LIKE our Facebook Page and also leave a comment on the post.

We will draw twenty random names on Tuesday 23 July at 10 am.

One entry per person only and winners need to be able to collect their kit from our Heathfield Depot at 32 Scott Creek Road, Heathfield. Kits are required to be collected within a month of the winner being notified or they will be allocated to another entrant.

Plant Species

The plants in the kit will be a combination of the following:

  • Acacia acinacea (Wreath Wattle)
  • Bursaria spinosa ssp. spinosa (Sweet Bursaria)
  • Calocephalus citreus (Lemon Beauty-heads)
  • Chrysocephalum apiculatum (Common Everlasting)
  • Coronidium scorpioides (Button Everlasting)
  • Craspedia variabilis (Billy-buttons)
  • Cullen australasicum (Tall Scurf-pea)
  • Dianella revoluta (Black-anther Flax-lily)
  • Goodenia albiflora (White Goodenia)
  • Hardenbergia violacea (Native Lilac)
  • Kennedia prostrata (Scarlet Runner)
  • Myoporum parvifolium (Creeping Boobialla)
  • Patersonia occidentalis (Long Purple-flag)
  • Poa labillardieri ssp. labillardieri (Common Tussock-grass)
  • Pultenaea pedunculata (Matted Bush-pea)
  • Scaevola albida (Pale Fanflower)
  • Veronica gracilis (Slender Speedwell)
