About the Role

  • 0.5 FTE Part Time
  • Availability to be flexible over a 7-day roster, including evening and weekend shifts (essential)

We are seeking a suitably skilled individual to join our Library team and provide both mobile library and home delivery services. You will have previous experience in a library or community services environment and the ability to relate and engage with a diverse range of people and groups. Demonstrated experience and competence in the use of information technology and a high level of initiative and enthusiasm is essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills will be critical to your success in this role. A current C class driver’s licence is required to drive both the mobile library van and home delivery vehicle.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a library or community services environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups
  • Demonstrated initiative and enthusiasm in providing excellent service
  • Valid C class driver’s license for operating the mobile library van and home delivery vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for fostering community connections through library services
