Monarto Safari Park is part of Zoos South Australia, and exists to connect people with nature and save species from extinction.
Monarto is routinely involved in a wide range of conservation programs including captive breeding, habitat restoration, biological surveys, creation of insurance populations, studies in reproductive biology, conservation education, corporate and community fundraising, wildlife disease management, translocation and community development to foster alternative livelihoods.
The Park is a fantastic tourist destination in the wider Adelaide Hills region, as well as an important conservation charity. They appreciate support given in creative ways, such as the provision of weed materials for animal fodder. By sourcing weed materials from around the region, they can free up and maximise other resources.
