Computers and Printing

Adelaide Hills Libraries offer access to computers, scanning services and printing services, including mobile and 3D printing. Computer access and scanning is offered for fee, while printing services attract a fee.

Technology

Adelaide Hills Council Libraries offer access to public computers at Coventry Library, Stirling, Gumeracha and Woodside Libraries.

Bookings may be required during busy periods.

We have iPads for children to use within the library while visiting. Please ask staff if you would like to borrow one.

The Coventry Library, Stirling has two PS4 for use withing the library while visiting. Please ask staff if you would like to use one.

Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi is available at all Adelaide Hills Council Libraries as well as The Summit Community Centre at Norton Summit.

No passwords are required, but you will be asked to agree to terms and conditions before connecting.

Printing, photocopying and scanning

Printing, photocopying and scanning to USB is available at Coventry Library, Stirling, Gumeracha and Woodside Libraries. We also offer 3D printing at Coventry Library, Stirling.

You don't need to be using one of our computers to use our printing service, you can use your personal computer or mobile device wherever you are, to print to any of our libraries.

There is a small price for printing and photocopying (see table below)

Option 2 - E-mail your document for printing

Create your own 3D prints using SketchUpTM, or use existing models from websites like ThingiverseTM. Printing is available in red, green, royal blue, black, white, sky blue, and yellow, with a maximum build size of 227L x 148W x 150H mm, and maximum print time of eight hours. Submit your .stl file on a USB and, when completed, staff will contact you for collection of your print and USB.

Cost is $5.00 plus 5 cents per gram.

Scanning to a USB is available on our printers at all Adelaide Hills Council libraries, free of charge.
