Library Room Hire

Adelaide Hills Council Libraries offer rooms for hire to community groups, individuals, Not for Profit organizations, and business groups for various purposes, including meetings, training sessions, and information days.

Please note that all bookings are reviewed by staff to ensure fair and equitable access for all community members. Therefore, repeat bookings are also subject to staff approval and can be made for a maximum of 6 consecutive weeks

Coventry Library, Stirling

The Community Room has a capacity for up to 30 people depending on the set up required

Facilities include:

  • Access to crockery/urn by request
  • Whiteboard

The Training Room has a capacity for up to 10 people depending on the set up required

Facilities include:

  • Smart screen
  • Wi-fi
  • Individual study tables
  • Chairs
  • Whiteboard

Woodside Library

This room is a small meeting room and has capacity for a maximum of 3-4 people

Facilities include:

  • Table
  • Chairs
  • Wi-fi

Booking and Hire Guidelines

  • We will require details of the type of booking and contact information at the time of booking
  • The library reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings deemed unsuitable or inappropriate for the venue
  • Room bookings are only available during standard library opening hours
  • Book the total time needed for your meeting or event, including setup, pack-up, and cleaning time
  • Submit cancellations of confirmed bookings as soon as practicable
  • The Council may cancel bookings without notice in emergencies, if the library is deemed unsafe, or if the library needs to close for any reason. Our libraries are closed on Catastrophic Fire days
  • Clean and tidy the booked area to its pre-hire condition before vacating, and restore all furniture and equipment to its original position unless otherwise indicated
  • Hirers must supply their own resources, including catering, stationery, and any necessary materials, unless otherwise approved
  • Parking at the Library is limited. Hiring a facility does not guarantee parking availability. Parking restrictions may apply in Library car parks and on nearby streets. Hirers are responsible for adhering to the area’s parking regulations
