This Autumn, Coventry Library, Stirling will be screening movies based on classic novels.
Friday 17 March - In the Autumn of 1963, a Korean War veteran and criminal pleads insanity and is admitted to a mental institution, where he rallies up the scared patients against the tyrannical nurse. Based on the 1962 noel by Ken Kesey.
Friday 21 April - An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African American maids' point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis. Based on the 2010 novel by Kathryn Stockett.
Friday 19 May - A woman who raised herself in the marshes of the Deep South becomes a suspect in the murder of a man with whom she was once involved. Based on the 2018 novel by Delia Owens.
