Let's Talk Peri and Post Menopause

Join us for an informative and supportive event brought to you by Sonder, dedicated to exploring the journey through peri and post menopause.

This event is open to all who wish to learn more about these life stages, manage symptoms effectively, and find support in a community setting.

What is Perimenopause?

Perimenopause, often referred to as the menopausal transition, is the period before menopause when a woman's body begins to undergo changes leading to menopause. It can start several years before menopause, as the ovaries gradually produce less estrogen. Women may experience a range of symptoms, including irregular menstrual cycles, hot flashes, and mood swings.

What is Post Menopause?

Post menopause refers to the stage after menopause has occurred, typically diagnosed after a woman has gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. During this time, symptoms of menopause may continue, but the body gradually adjusts to lower levels of estrogen. Women may face new health considerations and changes that require attention and care.

This event will provide valuable insights into:

  • Understanding the symptoms and stages of peri and post menopause
  • Effective strategies for managing symptoms
  • The importance of self-care and support networks
  • Shared experiences and advice from others going through the same journey

Light refreshments will be provided.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with others and gain the knowledge and support you need to navigate peri and post menopause with confidence.
