Participate in Calm
Part of the Adelaide Fringe 2025
Fabrik Arts + Heritage, 1 Lobethal Rd, Lobethal
A large-scale installation of crochet mandalas contributed by our crafting community and presented as part of Adelaide Fringe 2025.
Radiating circular tranquillity, with limitless yarn gently looped and woven into countless stitches, Calm will bring joy to Fabrik visitors and connectedness to its creators.
Crochet as a making process can have a meditative, soothing and revitalising effect on those who practice this textile craft.
How to be involved:
Crochet and share 1-4 of your unique mandalas with us. Your mandala can be delicate or chunky, gently coloured or monochrome; made with cotton, wool or your favourite yarn. In terms of dimensions, each mandala must be 18 centimetres to 100 centimetres in diameter.
