Run a Profitable Retail business
This workshop on Wednesday, 7 March 2024 is for business people running a retail business in the Adelaide Hills Council Region.
The world of retail business has changed with the ever-growing online shopping experience and industry. To remain competitive, relevant and profitable retail business people need to adapt and embrace contemporary strategies and tactics to compete with their online retail cousins.
Retail business growth doesn’t just mean expanding inventory or opening new locations. It involves embracing technology to help you grow and meet changing customer expectations.
While there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to retail business growth, there are fundamental, tried and tested methods as well as some new tactics.
The Polaris Centre, in collaboration with a seasoned business owner and devoted advocate of small shops, has crafted and delivers this workshop. Ana Maria Munoz, with her extensive and diverse skill set is our workshop facilitator. Ana, a former shopkeeper, operated her own dream store for five years, simultaneously establishing a local retail collective and organising an independent design showcase.
The insights that will be covered in the Retail Fundamentals workshop include:
- Understanding your customers, providing excellent customer service, improving shopfront and curb appeal, improving in-store expereinces, loyalty programs, in-store events, marketing, ecommerce and much, much more!
- After completing this workshop, you will have the opportunity for a 90-minute FREE Business Consultation.
- Also, on offer is a personalised and tailored - Ignite Your Retail Business Mentoring Program.
