Using a method also known as ' toothbrush weaving' come and learn the technique to make customised floor rugs (or stash baskets) from repurposed quilt covers, sheets and fabric scraps, complimenting a repurposing, sustainable lifestyle.

This class will teach you how to start this addictive and fulfilling hobby. Once you’ve completed this workshop, you’ll be able to continue with your project at home and experiment with colours and textures. Using a knotting technique originally from Viking times and carried into the present day by the Amish. All materials are provided (including your own weaving needle to take home) and all steps are covered giving you the confidence to tackle you own pieces.

We recommend bringing along your own repurposed fabric, quilt covers or sheets if you’d like a certain colour scheme.

Afternoon tea provided.
