Aboriginal people have always had storytelling and knowledge sharing to communicate Lore, Laws, Kinship structure, ceremony, language and knowledge about Country in their traditions and culture.
Senior Peramangk Women Mandy Brown will read the book 'Say Yes', written about her childhood growing up in the Adelaide Hills. Discussing the themes of racism, friendship, and the 1967 Referendum.
Accompanying Mandy will be Jade Brooks, who will bring along some of her Indigenous dolls to share with children. Everyone who attends will get to take home a Say Yes colouring sheet and make their very own badge.
