The English Ale is a unique seasonal gathering that takes place annually in the picturesque town of Mylor every May. It is an autumn gathering celebrating the village customs and traditions of the UK that occur within the seasonal wheel of the year.

Join in for a day and night of music, merriment and dance - wear a mask and take part in the torchlight procession to the bonfire! Food and drinks are available provided by local suppliers and producers, with over 50 craft stalls throughout the day.

A bonfire is built with a Wicker Man waiting to fire the night as a procession of masked guisers and giants lead you along the path.

The English Ale is a very popular community event which has grown year on year - come and join the fun!
