Join best-selling author and community historian Liz Harfull in this workshop exploring techniques to help you write engaging history, whether it's about your family or local community. Develop writing skills that will bring your stories to life and be inspired to make your project happen.

This is an adult workshop for ages 18+.

Part of the South Australia’s History Festival 2025.

Liz Harfull is passionate about history and telling the stories of the extraordinary everyday people who make up our communities. She has written ten books, including the extraordinary story behind the foundation of the Country Women’s Association, award-winning celebrations of country shows and cooking traditions, and an in-depth history about her favourite seaside town of Robe. Liz juggles a busy writing career with volunteer work as a community historian. She is also editor of the National Trust of SA magazine, Heritage Living.
