Artist: Jocelyn Pratt from New Zealand

Jocelyn's sculptures are modernist interpretive works representing natural forms in stylish refined outlines. She favours the use of local materials and enhances the natural qualities of stone with polish and texture techniques. The majority of her international public works are monumental but she also sculpts exquisite smaller works for interior and intimate outdoor spaces. Many of her works are evocative of surroundings and environment, nature and the effect of society and political influences.

Jocelyn has participated in symposiums and exhibitions around the world and her sculptures are held in public and private collections throughout New Zealand and internationally.

A leaf boat – the journey of change, caring for our environment. Recognising the need to plant local native trees and plants, provide wildlife habitats and improve water and air quality.
